OUR STORY

The Buddhist Society of Idaho/Chaiya Meditation Monastery (2) is a distinctive Buddhist monastery located in Nampa Idaho USA on approximately 3 1/2 acres. The monastery offers an ancient perspective on the practice of Theravada Buddhism in today's world. Everyone is Welcome!!!  

 

The monastery welcomes people from all walks of life, religion, and belief to learn and practice "The Art of Living" and the way to be free from all sufferings, which is the definitive goal as taught by the Lord Buddha. We are open daily from 8:00 AM until evening for meditation, chanting and relaxing in a quite peaceful atmosphere.  

 

We are a spiritual oasis - the Buddhist Society of Idaho/ Chaiya Meditation Monastery 2 (CMM2) - serves as a place for all visitors who would like to seek a spiritual oasis to pursue meditation and to study Buddhism.
